Urban Player is an oldschool music player and visualizer.

What Does Urban Player Do?

When I was in a vehicle thinking about literally nothing, a breeze touching my face felt cool yet warm, and the landscape embracing me brought my mind into a trance. The idea of this app just came from that moment. I created Urban Player to reproduce the feeling digitally. You can treat it as:

• A music player and visualizer
• A racing game
• Or just a light-interaction app which chills you out
• Moreover, you can also make your own scene for Urban Player

How To Install?

Windows

1. Download and unzip the zip package
2. Execute "play.exe"

MacOS

1. Download and unzip the zip package
2. Apply execution permission to the executable (i.e. "xattr -cr play.app", then "chmod 777 play.app/Contents/MacOS/play")
3. Execute by double clicking "play.app"

Linux

1. Download and unzip the zip package
2. Apply execution permission to the executable (i.e. "chmod 777 play")
3. Execute "play"

How To Use?

Music mode: The app has included a few built-in example music. You can pick other mp3, ogg, etc. from your local drive.

Racing mode: Z to drive forward, X to break, left/right arrow keys to turn.
